New subscriber here and great recap! Based upon the foul trouble we saw against UNC (Harris and Dickinson each had 4) and Michigan State, do you anticipate this to be a challenge throughout the season? Or am I reading too much into a two game sample size?

Hey Sam! Thanks for subscribing and checking it out! Fouls can definitely vary based on opponents and officiating crews, so I would say this is more of a small sample size skewing the situations. Duke and Creighton could put Kansas in similar situations due to how they play, but Harris only had four fouls twice last season, and Dickinson had 4+ fouls in six games last season. There could be some games where lineups look a little clunky, but I'd expect Self to have the rotation humming close to conference play and the players to feel more comfortable playing in different lineups.

The positive is that last year's team didn't have the same level of talent on the bench. This year, they have arguably eight players who can play at starter level, so there shouldn't as significant of a drop-off when they are forced to go to the bench when players are in foul trouble.
